Plant & Equipment
To ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently, we own and operate a comprehensive range of plant, including over 44 Tractors and 65 Drum Trailers ranging from 0.5 tonne to 15 tonne capacity. Some drum trailers have re-drumming facilities.
Other equipment includes 35 Ton A Frames, 10 Ton Cable Recovery Winch, JCB's, Mini-diggers, fork lifts. We have a large quantity of cable winches ranging from 2 tonne to 5 tonne including, where necessary, fitted spark arrestors and chalwyn valves. The majority of the equipment is specifically designed and manufactured for cable installation work. All equipment is regularly serviced and tested and is operated by competent trained employees.
Under The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 and The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 we operate our own testing facilities for all drum trailers, cable jacks, bars, shackles, snatch blocks, strops etc.
LOLER testers are trained and competent and all equipment sent to site will have necessary documentation including, valid test certificates and service sheets. For further information on our specialist plant please contact our Transport Department at Head Office.
