The Brief
Cable Installation - To install cables from 240mm 4c down to Fibre optic on high level ladder rack 28mts above ground level. The routes were accessed from a gantry walkway and also mobile elevating work platforms. There were also interlinking cables within 5 sub stations throughout the main building. Civil Works - To excavate and install 1 to 6 way cable duct system on a 5,000 metre route around and within the site perimeter for cctv, access & control, lighting and small power. Bases were constructed for turnstiles, feeder pillars and 12 metre sliding gates. The contract also included the construction of bases and the erection of 120 (10 metre high) lighting columns for roadway lighting and pedestrian walkways.
The Solution
Using our specialist civil team, fully equipped with the latest relevant plant and equipment, we were able to ensure all civil works were completed to site specification and within client deadlines. Our high standards of workmanship, monitored closely by our nominated site supervisors, resulted in an extension of both civil and cabling work subcontracted to us.
