CLIENT: MOWLEM ENGINEERING POWER
PROJECT: SPINNAKER TOWER, PORTSMOUTH
The Brief
Installation of cable tray within the vertical shaft of the 165 metre tower followed by the installation and dressing of the tower main distribution and communication cables.
The Solution
Using specialist cable winches operated by trained and competent staff the cable was winched from ground level up the tower without damage. This was a task in itself but with close supervision by management and a committed workforce the cable tray and cable installation was completed safely and successfully.
